General Surgery

A specialty of medicine from which all types of surgical specialties emerged, General Surgeons provide a wide array of services to the hospital and community. General Surgeons provide care to people while inpatient in the hospital and as outpatients in the office. Our surgeons have a longstanding relationship and work closely with other providers in the community including the Internal and Family Medicine specialists, Dialysis Program, and Cancer Center.

 

General Surgery includes surgical procedures performed on various regions of the body and endoscopy for evaluation of the hollow organs like the stomach and colon.

  • Dialysis access including fistula creation for hemodialysis and laparoscopic peritoneal dialysis catheter placement.
